What’s In My Bag: Beach Day
I really love this type of post or blog. Perhaps it’s due to being naturally curious and always on the hunt for great ideas to enhance my own bag contents or to make life easier. Or maybe it’s because I used to be so addicted to People magazine’s Style Watch. In any case, I thought it’d be fun to do my own version of What’s In My Bag. Let’s start with one I just packed for recently. A beach day! Beach Bag of Choice My current favorite is a mesh Lilly Pulitzer tote that I ordered off their website a couple of season ago. I completely adore this bag (I…

Champagne taste but working with more of a “beer budget”, here we go! Tip #1…early bird specials. What to Pack for Your Hawaii Vacation (aka Summer Fashion)-Shoes:
So you’re planning that perfect getaway for a week away in Hawaii. Out-of-office replies scheduled-check. House/dog sitter, check. Reservations confirmed and travel insurance information ready-check. Suitcases open and packing cubes (have you tried these? Seriously our travel VIP) ready to be filled-check. But now, what to pack? To be completely honest, our weather doesn’t vary a whole lot. Apart from certain areas (we’re thinking of you Hawaii Volcanoes National Park on the Big Island) and times of the year (December-May of this past year has been unusually rainy even on the south shore of Oahu), you’re probably going to be having sunny warm to humid hot weather with a slight…

Thin cotton and cotton blends (cotton gauze dresses and pants are light and breathable) in airy dresses, skirts, tanks, and wide leg pants are other good…
